Member Terms & Acceptable Use
These terms apply to every ProcessPrizm member account. By creating an account you confirm that you have read and agree to them. This is a working draft for the pilot and may be updated; members will be notified of material changes.
1. Who may join
ProcessPrizm is for professional process servers, and later licensed private investigators, who serve or investigate for lawful purposes. Every account is reviewed before access is granted. We may ask for proof of registration, licensing, bonding or business identity, and we may decline any application.
2. What ProcessPrizm is — and is not
- ProcessPrizm is an address-only database of prior service attempts and property access notes.
- It contains no profiles of people and offers no search by person name. Members must not enter names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, phone numbers or other personal identifiers of served parties or occupants into notes. We remove names we detect.
- ProcessPrizm is not a consumer reporting agency and its information must not be used to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
3. Your contributions
- You own or have the right to share it. You confirm that you created, own, or have the right to contribute everything you upload or enter — including affidavits, attempt records, CSV exports and notes — and that contributing it does not breach any contract, platform terms, court order, or confidentiality duty you are bound by.
- License to ProcessPrizm. You grant ProcessPrizm a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to store, copy, process (including with AI tools), aggregate, de-identify, display to members, and otherwise use your contributions to operate, improve and offer the service and related data products. You keep any ownership you have in your original documents.
- Accuracy. Contribute truthfully and accurately. Do not submit fabricated attempts or notes.
- Uploaded affidavits are stored privately and are visible only to you and ProcessPrizm administrators. Only the address-level details you review and save are shared with members.
4. Acceptable use
You may use ProcessPrizm only for lawful service of process and lawful investigation. You must not:
- stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or surveil anyone;
- attempt to locate a person protected by a protective or restraining order, a victim of domestic violence, or a participant in an address confidentiality program, or help anyone else do so;
- search for personal reasons, or on behalf of anyone other than a lawful client matter;
- share your login, resell, scrape, bulk-export or republish ProcessPrizm data;
- use ProcessPrizm in violation of any federal, state or local law.
5. Audit logging
Every search and contribution is logged with your account, the query, and the time. Logs are reviewed, may be used to investigate misuse, and may be disclosed when required by law.
6. Protected-address opt-outs
Anyone may request that an address be blocked. Blocked addresses return no results. Members must not attempt to work around a block.
7. Suspension and termination
ProcessPrizm may suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, including for any suspected violation of these terms. Contributions made before termination remain licensed under section 3.
8. Billing
Billing is not active during the pilot. Pricing shown on the site is proposed founding-member pricing and will be confirmed before any charge.
9. No warranty; limitation of liability
Information is contributed by members and provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Always verify before relying on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProcessPrizm is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
